6th Annual Swing Out Rockford Results!

6th Annual Swing Out Rockford was a great success!  We had over 180 people attend our event this year which was held at the Rockford College Regent Hall.  The band was awesome and everyone requested the Thomas Gunther Trio back for next year.  The decorations were great and many people came dressed to impress in the 20’s- 30’s style of clothing.  It was an fun night of live music and dancing!  Channel 13 news and The Rockford Register Star covered our event this year!  If you missed it this year, be sure to come and join us next year.

Every year we donate our net proceeds from Thursday night admissions and the Swing Out Rockford event to local charities.  This year we are donating to the Rockford Rescue Mission and the Rockford Sharefest.  Rockford Rescue Mission helps those who have addictions and are homeless.  Rockford Sharefest helps remodel and repair our public schools.  This year we are able to donate $4000.00!  $2000.00 each to the charities!  Take a look at our pictures from the event!  (The pictures show $1800.00 in the check presentation.  After final count, we were able to donate $2000.00 to each charity).  If you were not able to join us this year, plan on coming out to our Swing Out Rockford event next year!
