Weekly Dancing
Forest City Swing is a Christian non-profit organization focused on the community to provide fun and family-oriented entertainment. We invite anyone who would like to learn to swing dance to our Thursday night events. We meet at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church Gym 2001 N. Apline Rd, Rockford on Thursday nights (except Thanksgiving). $3.00 admission
General Information
When swing dancing, please dress comfortably. Wear dance shoes, dress shoes or tennis shoes. We ask that you do not attempt any aerials for safety reasons. We also have water and pop available.All the admission goes toward paying the building rental, swing parties, our annual Swing Out Rockford event. At each Swing- Out Rockford event we donate the net proceeds of the event and money collected on Thursday nights to Charities in the community.
